Jane Lynch - or popularly known as Sue Sylvester in the hit TV musical 'Glee' - just tied the knot with her long time girlfriend, psychologist Lara Embry. The wedding ceremony was held at the Blue Heron Restaurant in Sunderland, Massachusetts. The ceremony was held in Massachusetts where same-sex marriage is permitted.
The couple held an intimate wedding having only 21 guests which began at 5:30pm and was held at the restaurant's outdoor porch overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain as reported by Star magazine.
The couple both wore suits to the wedding. Lynch wore black slacks and a beautiful pale pink silk wrap-around blouse, while Embry wore a black and white sleeveless cocktail dress.
After the wedding ceremony, the couple and their guests moved inside for the dinner and the reception. Guests dined on duck, sea bass and a three-tiered vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling while a band provided music. Guests mingled and danced 'til 10 in the evening.
According to restaurant employee Scott Mercure,
"They've been planning the event for the past few months. We were all so excited. They're really great people. It was a really beautiful event."
