American Idol judge Simon Cowell said that he's now leaving the popular Fox talent show American idol. After 9 Seasons on the air, the show became as the top show on television with millions of viewers all over the globe. Cowell's presence on the show has been accredited as a major reason of the show's success. The judge became very popular among the viewers for his unsugar-coated criticisms to the contestants. The 50 year old judge already signed a contract, still with Fox, for the U.S. version of his popular U.K. talent show, "The X Factor" which will be airing in the fall of 2011. Cowell will be both executive producer and judge on the said show. Though he's well paid for being a judge on "Idol" - earning an estimated $36million per season - he said that he wants to focus on "The X Factor." According to the judge, he didn't think that it's right to do two shows on America so chose to leave one and start another.
